DONALD RAY BALL, age 63 of New Market, TN passed away Thursday morning, October 4, 2012 at his home. He was a member of McCampbell?s Chapel Methodist Church and a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was a former employee of United Cities Gas and an employee of Dollywood, which he loved dearly. Preceded in death by mother, Ella Jay Ball; sister, Sarah; brother, Mike. Survived by son, Shawn and wife Amy; brother, Frankie; grandchildren, Demetrius, Madeline, Savaunnah, Jeremyah and Mahala; special nieces, Janie Baker and Pam Cates; special family, Steve Terry, Sandy and Pam Capps, Charles and Edna Patterson, Lambert and Sue Atkins, Stanley and Harriet Terry, Mike and Debbie Sexton, Adam and Beth Nicley. He had a huge Dollywood family and several special neighbors. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Allen Hawkins officiating and music by Destiny Woods. Interment graveside service Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Lambert Atkins, Mike Sexton, Stanley Terry, Adam Nicley, Jerry Cates and Chad Cates. Honorary pallbearers Jay Baker and Charles Patterson.
