Don D. Smith

DON D. SMITH, age 74, of White Pine, TN and formerly of Morristown, TN passed away at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. He was a former salesman at King Solomon Motor Company. Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Bertha Frye Smith; daughter, Diane Jordan, and brother, Lonnie Smith. He is survived by his wife, Emma Moyers Smith; sons, Billy Joe (Debbie) Smith and David (Robyn) Smith; step-sons, Stanley Carpenter and Rev. Tim Carpenter; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. Tim Carpenter officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 9:50 a.m. Saturday morning at Balch Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
