Dixie Gaddis Miller

Dixie Gaddis Miller, age 91 of Dandridge, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sally Brimer Gaddis. She was a lifelong member of the Hills Union United Methodist church and taught music at Dandridge Elementary for 25 years and was retired from Tennessee Handbags. Preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Miller and brother, Glenn Gaddis. Survived by her son and daughter in law, Bill and Janice Miller; grandchildren, Mark Miller and wife Robin, LeAnn Miller Hilemon and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Alexandra Miller, Daniel and Brooke Hilemon; nephew, Robert Gaddis; great niece, Susan Gaddis Gass; great nephews, Bobby Gaddis, Don Gaddis, Dale Gaddis, Garth Gaddis; great great nieces, Julia Gass, Carley Gaddis; great great nephews, Robert Gass, Heyden Gaddis; special nurse, Judy Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Moore and Rev. Ron Gough officiating. Interment graveside services will be at 10:30 Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
