Dennis Frank Woolard

DENNIS FRANK WOOLARD, age 65, of Talbott, TN went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2021 at Turkey Creek Medical Center. He was a member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Faye Woolard; father-in-law, Walter Smelcer; brother-in-law, Roger Osborne. He was a loving husband, dad, and papaw and is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patsy Woolard; son, Dennis Patrick Woolard (Angie); grandchildren, Haylee and Mason; brothers and sisters, Shirley (Mike) Osborne, Gearldine (Walter) Thomas, David (Mary) Woolard, Danny (Heather) Woolard, and Darlene Osborne; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; and special friend, George McAmis. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Knight and Rev. Scott Noe officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Hass, Tyler Smelcer, Richard Smelcer, Burl Smelcer, Mike Osborne, Tim Osborne, Jay Suttles and Rod Stapleton. Honorary pallbearer will be Eric Smelcer. The body will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home. Due to Covid, please follow all CDC regulations in regard to masks and social distancing.
