She was born November 10, 1926 in Speedwell, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Seal; parents, Charlie and Matilda Hopper Maddox; brothers, Haskell, Edgar, Gilbert and Jack Maddox; sisters, Ruby Kelley and Sybl Berry; great grandson, Jeffrey Petry. She is survived by children, Alma Petry of Mt. Vernon, IL, Lynna Seal of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Chris and Laurie Petry and Jack and Jennifer Petry; great grandchildren, Weseley Smith and Katherine Petry; sisters, Mary Edwards of Speedwell, TN, Oleva Braden of Maynardville, TN. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Jefferson Memorial Hospital and St. Mary?s Medical Center for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Ellis Lynn officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
