DEBRA LEIGH BENNETT, age 67, of New Market, TN passed away at 6:45 p.m. on April 15, 2021 at her home. She was a seamstress and costume designer her entire life. She loved to participate in Pigeon Forge theatre and had worked with the American Eagle Foundation. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City and loved the choir there. Preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Patricia Hamilton, and step-son, Lance Bennett. She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Bennett; daughter, Jennefer Paddock; sons, Michael Paddock and Devin Bennett; grandchildren, Patrick, Jeremy, Kyleigh, Brandon, Courtney, Alexis, Zachary, Grayson, Gavin and Jarod; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mary Jo, Patrick, Craig, Darlene, Gerald and Harold; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 22 at First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City with Rev. Lloyd Jones officiating. Due to Covid restrictions, the service will be restricted to family, close friends, and her choir family. All those attending must follow all CDC guidelines, including the use of face masks.
