Deborah Mantooth Baxter

DEBORAH “DEBBIE” MANTOOTH BAXTER, age 68 of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday morning, January 4, 2025. She was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 1974 and then worked for many years for Epco and Le Sportsac and finally retired from Overman Industry. She was a Christian who loved the lord and was loving wife, mother and grandmother and a dear friend to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Mantooth, son, Wesley Maddron, brothers, Jackie and Jim Mantooth and is survived by her husband, Bart Baxter; son, Marcus Baxter; brother Charles (Glenda) Mantooth; sisters, Jeanie (Jerry) Shemwell and Sheila Dennis, nephews, Tyler Wilson, Dusty and Brandon Mantooth, Anthony Mantooth, Brian Dennis, Kris, Erik and Russell Miller; nieces, Kaitlyn Wilson, Emily Mantooth, Jessica (J.D.) Pollard, and Cadence Mantooth; grandson, Darien Wampler; father-in-law, Alfred “Red” Baxter. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2:00pm at Hills Union Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
