Debbie L. "Biggin" Maxey

Debbie L. “Biggin” Maxey, went to her heavenly home on New Year’s Day 2016, having fought a long battle with illness. She was born the 10th day of December 1960 in Anderson, IN. Debbie spent most of her adult life employed as a manager in retail sales. Of the Methodist faith, she was a long time member of White Pine First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Coy Maxey and Francis Surrett Maxey. She is survived by her sister, Cindy (Don) Wright and brother, Roger (Amy) Maxey, both of White Pine, and a special extended family sister, Barbara (Lester) Smith of Lafollette. Debbie’s pride and joy was her nieces and nephews, Logan (Kimberly) Wright and Devon Wright of White Pine, Lurelle and Caleb Maxey of White Pine and Stephanie Clark of Knoxville. Funeral Services will be at the First United Methodist Church in White Pine at 4:00pm, Sunday, January 3, 2016, with the Rev. Chris Ray officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Graveside Committal will be conducted as a private family ceremony in White Pine Cemetery.
