David Howard Derreberry

DAVID H. DERREBERRY, age 62 of White Pine, Tennessee, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 05, 2003 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a member of Sartain Springs Baptist Church and was an employee of International Paper with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Goldia Smith, and a sister and brother. He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Derreberry of White Pine; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Larry Cook of Dandridge; granddaughter, Chrystall Batson; grandson and wife, Jeffery and Gidget Batson; great granddaughters, Brittany and Miranda Batson, all of Dandridge; sisters, Barbara McSpadden of Dandridge, Nancy Renfroe of Texas and Betty Ray of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in White Pine with Reverend Leslie Griffie officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2003 at Sartain Spring Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
