Data (Betty) Francis Smith

Data Francis (Betty) Smith, age 86 of New Market, TN passed away Friday, October 2, 2015. Preceded in death by husband, Hugh Eugene Smith; parents, Walter and Myrtle Brown, several brothers and sisters. She was a member of Lakemoore Church of God. Survived by daughters, Ruth (Cleatus) Patterson, Mildred (Larry) Owens, Brenda McCollum, Linda (Jim) Moody and Donna (Keith) Garst; 10 grandchildren, 17great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Austin and Mary McGee; brother, Harry Brown; special friend, Kenneth Lassiter, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 with Evangelist David Keith Garst officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Johnson City, TN for an 12 noon graveside interment service. The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
