Daphine Ruth Howard Holder

Daphine Ruth Howard Holder, age 88, of New Market, TN passed away at her home on January 3, 2024.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She loved her family and enjoyed reading and creating beautiful embroidery projects.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Holder; parents, Alfonso and Elizabeth Johnson Howard; great grandson Ethan Graham; sister, Hazel Howard Wyrick Huey; and brother, Jessie Eugene Howard.  She is survived by daughters, Joyce Holder Waldin and husband Bob of Jefferson City, TN (previously Acworth, GA), Connie Holder Wolfe and husband Rick of Mooresburg, TN, and Janet Holder Hazelwood and husband Teddy of Jefferson City, TN; grandchildren, Stephanie Smith Johnson, Mica Smith Rutherford, Jonathan Waldin (Caryn), Amy Waldin  Huff (Brandon), and Richard Wolfe; great grandchildren, Katilynn Dalton, Tori Rutherford, Skyler Waldin, Aubrey Graham, Taylee Rutherford, Brendan Waldin, Junior Wolfe and Noah, Gabriella and Makenzie Giordano; two great great grandchildren, Tanner and Evelyn; brothers and sisters, Frank Howard, Herbert Howard (Nina), Martin Howard (Lois), Virginia Howard Shelby and Virgie Howard Dugger; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 5, at 2:00 pm in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Matthew Alder and Rev. Wade McCullough officiating.
