Danny W. Johnson

Danny W. Johnson, age 36, of New Market, TN passed away suddenly as a result of a work related accident on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was a member of Holston Baptist Church in Knox County and attended Strawberry Plains Baptist Church. He was a combat veteran of Iraq where he was a Sgt. in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a great husband and father and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife Laura Borders Johnson; children, Austin and Taylor; parents, Marvin and Carol Johnson; sister, Angela DeFoe; in-laws, Russell Borders and Melissa Gaut; grandparents, H.C. and Pearl Johnson of Rogersville; one niece and one nephew; also many friends to numerous to name. Funeral service for Danny will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with the Rev. Ronnie White and Rev. Johnny Hamilton officiating. Family will receive friends from 12-2:00pm prior to the service. A military graveside interment service will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Morristown VFW Post #5266 performing honors.
