It is with deep sorrow and with much love that we mourn the passing of Danny Charles of Rutledge TN. Danny departed this life on Dec. 14.  2023 at the age of 83. Danny was born on June 24. 1940 to Claude and Bertha(Tootsie) Charles. Danny was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Charles of Phelps. Ky; and two sisters, Helen Trent of Gilbert. WV and Monica Jackson of Williamson. WV. He was survived by two sisters, Bonetta(Tommy Ray) McClanahan of Phelps. KY and Claudette Paskowski of Williamson, WV; as well as one brother, Sam Charles of Phelps, KY.

Danny is survived by his wife of 60 years Lucille Dotson Charle;s and one daughter Michele (Steve) Charles Turner of Rutledge, TN. Danny was an Army veteran and retired from working as a purchasing agent at many coal mining companies. He was an  avid Kentucky basketball and Green Bay Packer fan. Danny enjoyed playing sports like softball, tennis and golfing for many years.

Danny will forever be remembered for the love he had for his wife, daughter and son in law as well as many special friends and family. He had golfing buddies he loved dearly. He will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.
