D. A. Lewis

D.A. LEWIS, age 81, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008. He was born in Glennville, GA, the son of the late Lawrence and Alma Lewis. He was a retired auto mechanic and was a veteran of the U. S. Army and World War II. Preceded in death by his brother, Quineth Lewis; sister, Joyce Ann Smith. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Brooks Lewis; daughter, Lisa Dockery and husband, Patrick Mullins; sons, D. A. "Shorty" Lewis, Jr. and wife, Kitty, Darwin Allen Lewis and fiance` Lisa Poe; grandchildren, Jason and Michael Lewis, Terry Trent, Jr., Michelle Pickens, Athena Davis, and Darwin A. (Trey) Lewis, III; three great-grandchildren. Funeral service Monday, February 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
