D.L. (DICK) SNYDER, JR., age 80, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, Dea and Ruth Snyder; daughter-in-law, Paula Hiatt; brothers-in-law, Earl Clark and Colin Smith. He is survived by son, Darrell Snyder of Knoville; sisters, Jennie Clark, Jean Holt and Sandra (Sam) Stallings; brothers, Joe (Carolyn) Snyder, Gerald (Pat) Snyder and Charles (Dollie) Snyder; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at McCampbell?s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mike Vincent officiating.
