Cynthia 'Bryant' LeMarr

CINDY BRYANT LEMARR "All about Jesus, not about me.." were Cindy's frequent words when her diagnosis of ovarian cancer and resulting hospitalization began in early December, 2015. Loving, selfless and optimistic, Cindy faced the reality of this disease with unfailing dignity and incredible courage. She never complained, and her heart's concern was always for her husband and her family.. Her constant prayer has been that this situation in their lives would cause her family to run toward Jesus and not away from Him. That the last three months would bring praise, honor and glory to the Lord has been her heart's desire. Born on May 24, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Cynthia(Cindy)Lee Bryant LeMarr was the third child of the late Ardelle(Delle)Longfellow Bryant and William (Bill) James Bryant. Cindy graduated from Central High School in 1967 where she was a majorette, Sub-Deb Club president, Choir Member and Miller's Fashion Board Representative from Central. She married Steve LeMarr on October 21, 1967, and moved with him to numerous locations while he served in the United States Army and completed his education in Pharmacy. Eventually settling in Morristown, they have lived there since 1978. Cindy's life work has been serving Jesus Christ as a teacher, mentor and conference speaker. Cindy and Steve were two of the founders of Heritage Fellowship Church in Jefferson City, Tennessee, in 1997, where Cindy serves as an elder. Trips to countries worldwide have resulted in their sharing the Gospel with many and assisting in the edification of numerous Christian fellowships. Cindy's gift of hospitality has blessed many people through the years. Her sense of humor, grace and generosity have enhanced numerous gatherings for fellowship in their home and encouragement to countless family members, friends and acquaintances.
