Cynthia Bidgood

Cynthia Bidgood of Dandridge, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on June 6, 2017. She was born in Dover, NJ on August 13, 1959 to Robert and Glenda Bidgood formally of Rockaway, NJ. Cindy lived most of her younger years in Rockaway, NJ and at age 13 she moved with her parents to Cranford, NJ and in 1978 she graduated from Cranford High School and then moved to Brooksville, FL. While in Florida she attended HARC and organization for adults with developmental disabilities. She also attended Artis Gardens Stables where she learned to ride and care for horses. She has also won several medals in The Special Olympics. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her 2 sisters, Carol (David) Szarka-Bidgood of Dandridge and Kathleen (Thomas) Downes of Blairsville, GA, three nieces, Jennifer (Mert) Baldwin of Dandridge, Michelle (Joseph) Zimmerman of Denville, NJ, Aileen (Brian) Goldstein of Bluffton, SC, nephew, Thomas (Leslie) Downes of Raleigh, NC, five great nieces; Cassidy, Willow, Emily, Kate and Marrisa, two great-nephews; Parker and Dylan, plus several aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and many friends. Graveside Inurnment Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, 11:00am in Hillcrest Cemetery, Dandridge
