Coyle Curtiss Lodwick

COYLE CURTISS LODWICK, born October 31, 1916 in Point Pleasant Township, Warren County, Illinois, departed this life on January 12, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He married Leatha Adelphine Cree on May 27, 1940 and resided in Toulon, Illinois and Jefferson City, Tennessee for most of his adult life. He was retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company of Peoria, IL, after 24 years of service. Member of the First Congregational Church of Toulon, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Edgar and Ella Sallee Lodwick; brothers, Clifford, Basil, Edgar, Jr. and Leland; and sisters, Enza Harrison and Wanda Staats.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Leatha, of Jefferson City, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Hugh and Denise Bettis Lodwick of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan Lodwick and Kelly Southerland Lodwick of White Pine, TN, Kenneth Lodwick of Dandridge, TN; great grandchildren, Alex Korn of White Pine, TN, Kirstan and Taylor Lodwick of Morristown, TN; brother, Jim Lodwick and wife, Joan of Savannah, GA; sisters, Enid Cirillo of Davenport, IA, Malba Perkins and husband, Ira of Keithsburg, IL; sister-in-law, Catherine Lodwick of Monmouth, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in honor of Coyle Curtiss Lodwick to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P. O. Box 11772, Knoxville, TN 37939, by check payable to the foundation. A memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
