Clyde C. Irwin, age 76 of White Pine, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday morning, October 23, 2002 at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. He was the former owner of the C. C. Irwin Pipe Line Construction Company. He was the builder and operator of the White Pine Golf Club for a number of years. He was prominent in the building of football and baseball fields in the White Pine Community. He was a very strong and avid supporter of his sons sports endeavors. He is survived by hiw wife of 54 years, Shirley Ann Irwin of White Pine; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Jean Ann Irwin and their son, Chase and daughter Jenna of White Pine; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Teri Irwin and their son Austin and daughter Taylor of Davie, Florida; brothers, richard Irwin of Houston, TX and Fillmore Irwin of Pleasanton, CA; special nephew and his wife, Wayne and Sara Irwin of Hot Springs, AR; several other nieces and nephews; special friends, James (Bunt) Arwood and Gerald Sorrels. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, October 26, 2002 at White Pine Cemetery with Rev. Randall Irons officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. to proceed to the cemetery.
