CLYDE EDWARD DENTON, age 81, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center. He was a veteran of WW II, having served in the US Army. Preceded in death by his wife, Florence McCall Denton and son-in-law, Cecil D. Rhea. Survived by children and their spouses, Ronnie and Ramona Clabo, Joyce Rhea, Dan and Kathy Denton, Jim and Sherry denton, John and Sharon Rhinehart, and Mike Denton; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, fred and Wilma Denton, Tom and Mary Denton; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thanks to all the employees of Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center for all the kindness shown the family during their father's illness. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2005 from Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dennis Kinnan and Justin Arbogust officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2005 at the funeral home to proceed to Caldonia Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
