CLON MATTHEWS, age 78, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Thomas Matthews; parents, Lee Arlie and Ruth Matthews; brothers, Cebern, Ora and Harold; sisters, Pauline and Patricia. He is survived by his sons, Tony (Jane) Matthews, and Barry Matthews; daughter, Debbie (Dave) Standridge; grandson, Chris and wife Megan; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Marygrace and Anthony; sisters and husbands, Joyce and Rick Helton , Elaine and Tom Walker; brothers, Lester (Gladys) Matthews, and Jerry (Judy) Matthews. Graveside funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening June 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City, TN.
