Cleo Coffey Jackson

CLEO COFFEY JACKSON, age 84, of New Market, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church of Thorn Hill and attended New Market Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Claude Hayes Jackson; father and mother, John Zolley Coffey and Nelia Bunch Coffey; sister, Ruby Coffey Wallen; and brothers, Macy Coffey and J. L. Coffey. She is survived by her daughter, Deloris Jackson Shannon of New Market; granddaughter, Julie Rankin of Jefferson City; grandson, Chuck Shannon; and great grandson, Jackson Shannon, both of New Market; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Bob Province and Rev. Dallas Harrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday, August, 31, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family wishes to express their thanks to those who loved Cleo and were her caregivers, especially Vickie Asbury, Cleo Jarnigan, Kylene West, Dr. N. Lynn Taylor and Dr. Kevin Rienour. In lieu of flowes, the family requests memorials be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Tennessee Chapter, 301 S. Preimeter Park Drive # 117, Nashville, TN 37211.
