CLAUDIA PRATT ADAMS, age 74, of Talbott, TN passed away on October 16, 2012 at Life Care of Jefferson City. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and retired from K-Mart. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Vina Pratt; brothers, Harvey Jack Pratt and Leonard Dale Pratt; sister, Marie Roberts. Survived by husband of 54 years, George E. Adams; son, Randall Adams; daughter, Jayne Martin and husband Rob; granddaughters, Claudia Layne Bible and Ramsey Ane Martin; sister, Madge Brown of Ulvah, KY; nieces and nephews, Peggy, Jim, Hazel, Jeannie, Brenda, Junior, Dianne, Sharlynn, Donna, Marketta, Jay, Raleigh, Phil, Stan, Fred, Roger, Jeff, Larry, Keith and Teresa. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home with Mitch Cain officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Friday morning for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
