Member of George Street United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Employee of Liberty Fibers with 30 years of service. Preceded in Death by his Parents: Claude and Lucille Houk. Survived by Wife: Elizabeth Houk of the home. Son and Daughter-in-law: Kevin and Teresa Houk of Jefferson City. Grandsons: Dustin, Adam and Andrew Houk all of Jefferson City. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ginger Howe officiating. Family and friends will gather 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. Graveside Interment service. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. prior to the Funeral Services.
