Clarence "Edward" Huskey

Clarence Edward Huskey, age 69, passed away June 20, 2022 at his home. 

Eddie had a gift for storytelling and loved people.  He had a big heart and was quick to help his fellow man.  He was a long-haul truck driver for many years and made many friends along the way.  He enjoyed his family and was very skilled at woodworking.  He will be missed by many.

Eddie was preceded in death by parents, Clarence Huskey and Nova Pearl Huskey; grandson, Aaron Drake Huskey; and 2^nd wife, Brenda Parton Huskey.

He is survived by his brothers, Danny Huskey, Gary (Tiny) Huskey, and Jim Huskey; sisters, Jan Hensley and Ann Bryan; 1^st wife, Anette Byrd; daughters, Staci Huskey and Shelly Smelcer; stepchildren, Scott Parton, Ryan Parton, Jason Parton and Sherry Parton; grandchildren, Jerod Hodge, Teddy Smelcer, Brittany R. Smelcer, Elizabeth Higgins and Cassidy Kelly; great grandchildren, Logan Smelcer, Reese Smelcer, Drake Hodge, Brantley Higgins, Opie Jace Smelcer and Ember Rose Hodge; and special friend, Donna Peters.

A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends at Dumplin Baptist Church on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 8:00pm with Rev. Rick Loy officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm prior to the service.
