Clara Jewel Dalton McCord

CLARA JEWEL DALTON MCCORD, age 89, of Sevierville, TN went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2011. She and her late husband, Bryant Dalton, were owners of Dalton Grocery on Chapman Highway in Sevierville. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Nora Humphrey; husbands, William Bryant Dalton and Stanley McCord; grandson, B. J. Dalton. She is survived by her son, Bryant Dalton and wife, Cathy of Sevierville; three grandchildren, Frances Weeks of Newport, Bryna Gossett and husband, Chuck of Newport, Bryant Dalton, Jr. and wife, Andrea of Dandridge; two step-grandchildren, Amanda Green and Jerri Hamilton of Pigeon Forge; three great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2010 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Ennis Mills officiating.
