She was a resident of Life Care Center of Jefferson City. Christine was a faithful and special member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Newport, TN. Preceded in death by her parents, George Walter McKinney and Mae Free McKinney; and one special daughter, Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. She is survived by one sister, Genevieve McKinney of White Pine; special cousins, Helen McKinney and Katy McKinney of Morristown; other cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Bro. Cline Franklin, Bro. Jr. Loveday and Bro. Ben Watts officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
