Christine Collins Fuller Allen, born August 5, 1933, was the sixth of ten children born to the late Daisey and Wiley Collins of the Leadvale community in Jefferson County. She wed Alfred Powers Fuller, Sr., of the Witt community in 1949 and together they had five children who survive her, Fred Fuller and wife, Becky of Asheville, NC, Rev. Judy and husband, Lee Simmons of Oak Ridge, TN, Kathy and husband Rick Gallagher of White Pine, TN, Pam Norton of Morristown, Tn and Michael Fuller of Los Angeles, CA; and also survived by her beloved sister, Peggy Collins Pangle; 14 grandchildren, Brian Fuller and wife, Kristen of Jonesboro, TN, Casey Fuller of Nashville, TN, Griffin Gallagher, (deceased) Christy (Gallagher) Radcliff and husband, Robert of White PIne, TN, Zach Gallagher of White Pine, TN, Amy (Simmons) Thurmond and husband, Chris of Nashville, TN, Elizabeth Simmons of Austin, TX, Walter Simmons of Oak Ridge, TN, Lydia (Simmons) Stephenson and husband,Brian of Nashville, TN, Katie Simmons of Oak Ridge, TN, Luke Simmons of Oak Ridge, TN, Amanda (Norton) Patton of Morristown, TN, Jason Norton of Nashville, Tn, Jessica Norton of Morristown, TN, 12 great grandchildren, Erin Fuller, Jet and Kaelyn Thurmond, Emily, Sophia and Abbigail Yates, Raegan, Reese and Charlie Ratcliff, Jeremiah, Cidney and Zaide Norton. Christine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an employee of Wallace Hardware until her retirement. Preceded in death by husbands, Alfred P. Fuller, Sr. (1979) and Arnold Allen (2007). Christine was a member of Witt Baptist Church for all of her adult life and served for many years as church secretary and sang in the church choir. In 1989, she married Arnold Allen, a widower and father to three children, Jim Allen and his daughter, Jenny Hosti and her sons, Cody and Dawson, Eddie Allen and his daughter, Tonya, and husgand, Roy Berrier, and their children, Olivia and Grant, and Linda Fleenor and husband, Jack, and their son, Brian Robinson and wife, Joanie and son, Blaine, Christine and Arnold spent the next 18 years enjoying their lives together and sharing in the lives of their new families, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended families. Christine, affectionately known as Mimi, passed away at the home of her daughter, Kathy Gallagher, in White Pine on January 2, 2008 after battling cancer for four years. Her last weeks were spent in the caring company of her sister, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family and the many friends whom she deeply loved. The family suggests that memorials be made to Witt Baptist Church, 960 Witt Road, Morristown, TN 37813. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 5, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Witt Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Snowden and Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Interment to follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening, January 4, 2008 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Witt Baptist Church.
