Lorene Branch

LORENE  BRANCH, age 76, of Morristown, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Lorene was born January 7, 1946 in Kyles Ford, TN, the daughter of Elmer and Willie Livesay.  Lorene professed faith in Christ as a young adult and remained a member of Community Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Lorene was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Woods; sisters, JoAnn Baker, Helen Woods, Mary Kinsler, Louise Woods, and Judy Baker, along with her brother, Ray Livesay. Lorene leaves behind her loving husband, Eugene Branch; son, Greg (Angela) Woods, whom she devoted her life to loving; a granddaughter, Whitney Woods that she loved and cherished dearly; brother, Kermit (T) Livesay and his wife Wilma. Lorene also leaves behind two step-sons, Adam Branch and Stanley (Gwen) Branch and grandson, Levi; step-granddaughter, Tabitha (Tyler) Thomas; her special friend, Ellie Renee and her little brother Kash Thomas; along with numerous other friends and relatives that will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Community Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, 1660 Phagan Store Road, Talbott, TN 37877. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Gary Norton officiating, Dolly and Archie Cook singing, as well as Molly and Jarome Gibson, with Archie Cook having prayer.   A short graveside service will be held with prayer by Buster Jarvis on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, 2027 Pollard Road, Talbott, TN. Pallbearers will be Adam Branch, Stanley Branch, Tyler Thomas, Casey Fox, Craig Livesay and Glenn Trent.
