Charline S. Snodgrass

Charline S. Snodgrass, age 82 of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly, Monday morning, June 9, 2003. She was born May 21, 1921 in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of the late E. Lee and Elizabeth Crutchfield Smith. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, she was an avid reader and was a member of the Dandridge Senior Citizens and Garden Club. Preceded in death by her husband, James Snodgrass; son, Chris Snodgrass and sister, Nancy Smith Carver. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Lee and Missy Snodgrass of Antioch, TN, George and Susan Snodgrass and Charles and Ann Snodgrass, all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth and David Snodgrass; brother in law, Lester Carver of VA. Graveside funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Cemetery with Rev. Dan Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Dandridge Library, 1235 Circle Dr., Dandridge, TN 37725.
