Charles ?Buddy Woods? Lee, age 71, of Morristown, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Friday morning, August 9, 2002 at Saint Mary?s Medical Center in Knoxville following a brief illness. He was an active member, deacon, and trustee of Brown?s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Magnavox after more than 37 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elmore Woods; and mother, Mary Bell Sutherland. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ellen Lee of Morristown; sisters and brother-in-laws, Anna Mae and Ray Greene of Talbott, and Marie and Jim West of Talbott; brothers, Bill Woods of Talbott and John Sutherlend of Morristown; and many special friends and family; and a special friend, Frank ?Fuzz? Love of Dandridge. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, August 11, 2002, from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City with Reverend J.T. Garrett and Reverend Steve Buell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m. Monday morning, August 12, 2002 at the funeral home and proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
