Charles A. Whitaker

CHARLES A. WHITAKER, age 87, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on October 11, 2020 at Jefferson Park at Dandridge. He was a member and deacon of Central Heights Baptist Church, retired from North American Phillips, a veteran of the U. S. Army, and enjoyed farming. Preceded by parents, Enos and Edna Whitaker. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Alta Ruth Whitaker; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Jordan and David Jordan, Jr.; grandchildren, Dr. David Jordan III and wife, Dr. Mary Jordan, Chelsea Jordan, Nate “Charles” Jordan; sister, Jessie Skeen; brother, Roland Whitaker and wife, Wilma; aunt, Bonnie Whitaker. Body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Randy Winston and Rev. Corey Jones officiating.
