"B" WELLS, age 90, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Omaha, NE, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville following a brief illness. He was a member of Martha Davis Baptist Church and Carpenter's Union Local #444. Retired carpenter from Omaha Public School System with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by wife, Ethel Wells. He is survived by sister, Geneva W. Tate; nieces, Alma W. Crossing, Rebecca (John) Armbruster and Gail Wells Walker; great nieces, Robin (Rick) Brown, April (Noble) Perry; special devoted great nephew, Randy Crossing; great nephews, Norman (Yvette) Crossing, Rusty (Wendy) Crossing, Jeremy Crossing and Kevin Wells; great-great nieces, Adrianna Crossing, Taylor Perry, Andrea Perry, Brieanna Perry; great-great nephews, Evan Crossing, Loren Brown, Leland Brown, Langston Brown, Ryan Crossing, Blake Crossing and Nicolas Crossing; and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Nathaniel Wilson and Reverend E. O. Cole officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Westview Cemetery for an 11:30 a.m. graveside interment service.
