Charles Connley Stout

CHARLES CONNLEY STOUT, age 68, of Cedar Bluff, GA passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Rome, GA. Mr. Stout was a native of Jefferson City, TN, the son of the late Howard and Myrtle Purkey Stout. He was a retired teacher from Armuchee High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Stout. Mr. Stout is survived by his wife, Josephine Hardin Stout of Cedar Bluff, GA; daughter, Heather (Shannon) Shaw of Huntsville, AL; brothers, Dennis (Edna) Stout, Joe (Kim) Stout; sisters, Judy Brown and Donna Barbee, all of Jefferson City; one grandchild, Addison Jordan Shaw of Huntsville, AL; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service for Mr. Stout will be 10:00 a.m. central time, Friday, August 27, 2010 at Oaknoll Cemetery in Rome, GA. The family will receive friends at Perry Funeral Home in Rome, GA from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. central time Thursday, August 26, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hrdeman Cemetery Fund.
