Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 OBITUARY: CHARLES EDWARD SMITH, age 73, of Talbott, TN passed away at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the White Pine Golf Club. Owner/operator of Appalachian Chair Company for over 25 years. Preceded in death by parents, Fain and Ethel Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Louise Smith; daughters, Dana Smith of Memphis, TN, Pat Layton of Sevierville, TN, Jenny Woodard of Talbott, TN, Connie Sue Smith; son, B. John Edward Smith of Talbott, TN; sister-in-law, Billie Jean Smallman of Morristown, TN; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Smith of Talbott. Graveside funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2007 at Sunderland Cemetery with Reverend George Johnson and Reverend Tim Collins officiating. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 3:30 until 5:00 p.m. prior to the graveside funeral service.
