Charles "Curt" Mason

Charles Curtis “Curt” Mason, age 82 of Dandridge passed away early Monday morning December 16, 2019. He was a member of Lawson’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from Enka Corp./Lenzing Fibers after 33 years. He was the son of the late Houk and Samantha (Strange) Mason. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Mason, grandsons, Nick Mason and Brad Mason, sisters, Evaudna Cate, Ruby Rainwater and Edna Caton, brothers, Dutch Mason, Perry Mason and Jack Mason. He is survived by his daughter and son in-law, Kim Melvin Whitt, sons and daughter in-law, Chip and Jessie Mason, and Tim Mason, grandchildren, Jeremy and Sidra Whitt, Robby and Kayla McMahan, Amy and Eddie Dilbeck, Courtney Mason, Isaiah Mason, Derek Mason, Trey and Shelby Mason and 15 great grandchildren, Kali, Tanner, Jacob, Justin, Maci, Madi, Josie, Sophie, Olivia, Emma, Neyland, Oaklee, Islah, Keilea, Madilynn and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Rev. Denny Ford and Rev. Bill Cheatham officiating. Family visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside interment will be 1:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Lawson’s Chapel Cemetery. The body will be moved to Lawson’s Chapel United Methodist Church to lie in state one hour prior to the interment on Friday.
