He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Gertrude Laymon; brother, Rex Laymon; and sisters, Tootsie, Kathy and Brenda. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Katherine E. Laymon of Dandridge; son, Charles David Graves of Plainview, TN; step-son, Shane Sands of Dandridge; step-daughter, Michelle Graves and step-granddaughter, Misty Graves, both of Anderson county; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Mary Laymon of Newport; brother, Austin Laymon and Marva Allen of Knoxville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Francis and Red Mayberry of Knoxville, Jessee and Joe Nipper of Knoxville, Wilma and Don Woods of Rogersville; sister, Glenda Buckner of Dandridge; special niece, Linda Corum of Knoxville; and several other nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries, Highway 25/70, Dandridge, TN with Reverend Troy Duncan officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Kiser, Tom Kiser, T. J. Dalton, Ross Thomas, Mike Branch and Mike Trant. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
