Charles H. Kenley

CHARLES H. KENLEY, age 77, of Talbott, TN passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his home. He was a prominent farmer of the Kansas-Talbott community and was a former teacher in the Special Education Department at Jefferson County High School. Charles was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. and Hallie G. McMahan Kenley; brother, Herbert Kenley; and sister, Ruth Hutsell. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Charlotte Kenley; sister-in-law, Blanche Kenley; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Dandridge Ministerial Association (Food Pantry), P. O. Box 826, Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Mark Hicks officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
