Charles "C.L." Higgins

Charles L. “C.L.” Higgins Sr, age 79, of White Pine, TN passed away at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation on Thursday, October 30, 2014. C.L. was retired from the United States Army after a long and distinguished career spanning more than 20 years. Upon returning to White Pine, he went to work for A-1 Rentals in Morristown, where he spent over 20 years until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Virginia Higgins; sister, Sue Solomon; and brother, John Higgins. Survivors include his children,; son, Charles L. Higgins, Jr. and wife Laura, daughter, Jennifer Hamrick and husband Joseph; grandchildren, Charlie Higgins and Genevieve Hamrick; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev. Brian Osborne officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Military Graveside Interment will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.
