Charles William Hance

CHARLES WILLIAM HANCE, age 45, of Kingsport, TN passed away at his home unexpectedly on Saturday, November 2, 2013 of natural causes. Preceded in death by grandparents, Pauline and Buster Combs, Bonnie and Herbert Hance of Jefferson City. He was an avid two-way radio and ham radio operator, radio controlled airplanes, and was taking flying lessons. He worked for AAA1 in Kingsport as a heat and air technician. Charles had a beautiful voice and was in a band for several years and still loved to sing and jam with his friends.He is survived by his parents, Linda Combs Hance and Garry William Hance, and family pet, Buck, of Kingsport; aunt, Delores Hall and husband Lee of New Market, TN; uncles, Roger Dale Combs and wife Ann of Jefferson County, Jerry Combs and wife Kathy of Morristown, Larry Hance of Jefferson County and Harry Hance of Hamblen County; along with several special cousins and lots of friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Bridge Home No Kill Animal Shelter in Kingsport. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 1:45 on Friday for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
