Charles D. Cole

Charles D. Cole age 76, of Jefferson City, TN died on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of East Tennessee State University. He was employed 34 years by American General Life and Accident Insurance Company. He worked with the Boy Scouts of America in Jefferson City for many years and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He also volunteered at Habitat for Humanity in Jefferson City. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Mary Alice Luntsford Cole. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann Cole; children, David B. Cole of Erlanger, KY and Jenny C. Cox of Union, KY; grandchildren, Avery Taylor Cox and Maura Elizabeth Cox of Union, KY; brother and sisters, Myrna Searcy of Rogersville, Michael (Evelyn) Cole of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Elizabeth ?Libby? (Jimmy) Bible of Rogersville; sister-in-law, Rochelle Runion of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home Jefferson City Chapel with the Reverend Albert Minor and the Honorable William Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the service.
