(BUDDY) BOWLES, age 55 of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at his residence. Member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. He served on the Community Board of Community National Bank, was a member of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and the Carson-Newman Eagle Club, and a former member of the Jefferson City Rotary Club. He was a partner with the Hamblen Anesthesia Group. Buddy was well known and served the Jefferson and Hamblen counties as an anesthetist for 29 years. Preceded in death by his father, George Hunter Bowles and brother, Bruce Bowles. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Bowles; daughter, Amy Bowles of Knoxville; sons, David Bowles of North Carolina and Ben Bowles of Dandridge; mother, Eunice Bowles of Virginia; brother, Bill Stephens of California; sisters-in-law, Pat Tyler of Seymour and Theresa Tyler of Seymour; brother-in-law, Lynn Tyler of Gallatin, TN; special pet and best friend, Molly. Buddy will be sadly missed by a host of friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2005 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening prior to the service at the funeral home.
