Box 1025 Dandridge, TN 37725 Phone (865) 397-2711 Fax (865) 397-9289 OBITUARY: CHARLES (CHARLIE) BRANNER, SR., age 85, of Dandridge, TN, who was born on October 12, 1922 to Harris and Verty Cuberson Branner, departed this life to be with Jesus on April 28, 2008 at St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He worked for Morris and Henry, and General Tire for 38 years. He attended House of Prayer in Dandridge. Preceded in death by sisters, Love, Margaret, Pauline and Daisy; brothers, John and Gene Branner. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances V. Nichols Branner; sons, Charles (Wilma) Branner, Jr. of Knoxville, Billy Eugene (Donna) Branner of Dandridge, Roy Lee Branner of Dandridge; daughters, Patricia (Roscoe) Allen of Morristown, Margaret Yvett Branner Jones of Dandridge; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Charles Branner, Jr. and Reverend Billy Branner officiating. Interment to follow at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
