Charlena (Sally) Ashburn

Charlena (Sally) Ashburn, age 71, of White Pine, TN passed away at Tennova Turkey Creek on August 19, 2020. She was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle and retired from Shelby Williams. Charlena was a beloved Wife, Mother, and Nanny. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Lena Pruitt, brother, James H. Pruitt. Charlena is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roy L. Ashburn, Sr.; children, Tammy Ashburn and Roy L Ashburn, Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley Lowry, Sarah Lee, Heath Davis, Bradley Ashburn, Justin Ashburn; great grandchildren, Gavin and Allison Lee, Jasper Lowery; brother, Kenneth Pete Brewer; two nephews and other family members. Charlena will Lie in State on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 12:00-5:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine. Graveside Interment will be Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 11:00 am, Dandridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Doug Benton officiating. Farrar Funeral Home respects and follows the CDC Guidelines for the Covid-19, including the use of facemasks.
