Cecilia A. Cox

Cecilia A. Cox, age 78, formally of Jefferson City, TN passed away January 9, 2022. Cecilia loved to spend her time travelling, gardening, and reading. She was a lifelong member of George St. Methodist Church. Cecilia retired from Appalachian Electric Cooperative.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Cox; parents, Roy and Geneva Ballew; and sister, Donna G. Moore. Cecilia is survived by her sons, Elden (Karen) Cox, and Royce “Terrell” (Kathy) Cox; grandchildren, Brandon Cox, Chad (Taylor) Cox, Kyle (Bre) Cox, Lindsay (Nathan) McCarter, Tony (Caley) Gill, and Chris (Kristen) Gill; nephew, Keenan Simpson; and several great-grandchildren.

The body will lie-in-state Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home Jefferson City 12:00 p.m-5:00p.m. A 2:00p.m. graveside will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Dr. Vanessa Wallace and Reverend Ginger Isom officiating.
