He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Mohawk. He was an iron worker employed by Fluor-Daniel Construction Company with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Jack C. and Anna B. (Lane) Woods and brother, Jeffrey Lynn Woods. Survived by son, Michael Ray Woods and daughter, Jenny Lynn Woods, both of Greeneville; brothers, Larry and Darrell Woods of White Pine, Mike and Dennis Woods of Mohawk; sisters, Diane lamb of Mooresburg and Jan Trent of Jefferson City; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Private memorial funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 9880 McDonald Drive, Mohawk, TN 37810.
