Catherine Carman Satterfield

CATHERINE CARMAN SATTERFIELD, age 105, of New Market, TN died on October 16, 2020 at the home of her daughter, which is on the family farm where she was born on May 11, 1915. She was previously a member of New Market Presbyterian Church and currently a member of Strawberry Plains Presbyterian Church. She had received a lifetime membership of Presbyterian Women. She was also a 70 year member and past Matron of the Kodak Eastern Star Chapter 460. She loved taking care of her flowers and spent many years working alongside her husband on the farm. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Porter Carman and Henrietta Almeda Roberts Carman; and husband of 46 years, Ralph L. Satterfield. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Davis and her husband, Jim; grandsons, Ralph Davis and wife, Kim of Knoxville, TN, Brian Davis and wife, Rebecca of Huntsville, AL; great-grandson, Eli Davis of Knoxville, TN. Due to Covid 19 and concern for everyone’s safety there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Strawberry Plains Presbyterian Church, PO Box 75, Strawberry Plains, Tn 37871, TN 37871.
