Carroll Leon Whaley, age 79 of Blaine, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021. He was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church and a Veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War at Cam Ranh Bay. He enjoyed a quiet life of retirement, loved being outside and loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Hazel Whaley, and brother Robert Whaley. He was survived by his loving wife, Linda Faye Whaley, whom he has cared for and loved for 59 years; daughter and son in-law, Lori (Toby) Livesay; grandchildren, Benjamin and Aaliyah Livesay; brother, Terry (Donna) Whaley; sisters, Wanda Williams, Sherry (Chuck) Covington and Karen Whaley and several nieces, nephews and a very special niece, Sabrina (Joey) Hodge. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Indian Ridge Cemetery in Blaine, TN with Pastor Gary Satterfield and Reverend John Pinkston officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 1:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City. . The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at UT Medical Center for their care of Mr. Whaley through his illness.
