Carroll Smith

CARROLL SMITH, age 86, of Talbott, TN went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2011. He was a member of Lakeshore Road Baptist Church and a retired employee of Forrest Products of Morristown. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Smith; parents, William and Della Riggins Smith; son, Arnold Junior Smith; brothers, Fred, Roy and Bobby; sister, Grace Campbell. He is survived by daughter, Della Lawson (Reid); sister, Iva Lee McCurray; grandson, Gregory Self; granddaughters, Donna Custer (Roger) and Melissa Fraley (Mike); great-grandchildren, James and Jessica Brooks; nephews, Junior McCurray and Fred Smith. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Golden officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Jarnigan Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
