Carrie E. Parks

Carrie E. Parks, age 85 of Morristown, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems. Carrie retired from Morristown Hamblen School System after serving 15 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; Matthew and Della McFeature Parks, brothers; Carter Parks, Clyde Parks, Lee Parks and Ed Parks; sisters Jane and Jean Parks, Maggie Clubb and Sylvilla Parker. She is survived by Phyllis Boatman, brother Roy (Jean) Parks, special nieces, Kathy (Johnny) Walker, Nora Lee (Jerry) Self, Linda (Reggie) Watts and Jessie Gentry, nephews, Tom (Cheri) Clubb and Johnny (Pete) Parks and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Danny Bell and Rev. Harold Noe officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 1:00pm in White Pine Cemetery, pallbearers will be: Jerry Self, Johnny Walker, Johnny Parks, Scott Walker, Larry Boatman and Larry Boatman Jr.
